Pyari Onlus members:

Emanuela Plano, president of Pyari Onlus, vice president Pyari Foudation India.
From her travels and research on Indian culture, her place of origin, Emanuela developed a strong desire to actively assist the most disadvantaged women and girls. From 2002 she collaborates with Ghandi Memorial Leprosy Foundation of Kolkata - a program for integration and care of people affected by leprosy in rural areas of Bengal. In 2007 she published the book 'Pyari, ritorno a casa' Proedi Editore. She holds a degree in Literature from Universita' degli Studi of Milan and is currently attending a course on Linguistic and Cultural Mediation.

Francesco Silva, counsellor of Pyari Onlus.
Prof. Francesco Silva, Chair of Applied Economics at Università di Milano-Bicocca, focuses his academic work on economic development and markets and companies organization. Prof. Silva is Chariman of Econometica, a national research centre for the social responsibility of companies. He also manages the magazine Consumatori, Diritti e Mercato. He served as Chairman of Acquirente Unico, a Government-owned entity established for the protection of the small users of electric power and as Dean of Universita LUIC, Castellanza. Prof. Silva contributed several micro-projects for the economic and social development in Latin America.

Serena Penagini, press officer for Pyari Onlus.
Serena has direct knowledge of West Bengal and bengali. She teaches Hindi and Indian culture. She worked for one year at the Italian Consulate in Kolkata and has taught at the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce. She has a degree in Philosophy and Indian Studies from the University of Milan.

Paolo Emanuele Arlandini, fundraiser for the development of the Pyari project.
Has in-depth knowledge of the economies of developing countries and is managing director of PR3 Prosperity, a private investment company. He has over 15 years experience in investment banking and corporate finance having worked with Lehman Brothers, Bain and Company, ERG. Has a degree in Economics from Bocconi University and an M.A from Columbia University, New York.

Mariolina Longoni, Pyari Onlus’ s Public Relations.
Mariolina lives in Milan and works in the tourism industry. After a master in tourism, she spent more than 10 years working as product managers with leading tour operators, focussing on Far East and India.

Laura Todeschini, Pyari Onlus's Craft and Educational Activities.
Laura developed her academic and artistic education at the Brera Academy in Milan and spent more than 20 years teaching art. She is responsible for training and upgrading courses in manual and recreational activities for Regione Lombardia and Comune di Milano. Laura enjoys a deep knowledge of Asia, whereto she travel often to establish new contacts local communities and projects for the safeguard and development of local handicraft.
