Pyari in hindi means loved one. Pyari Onlus is a non-profit organization established in 2007 in Milan. To become operational in India, Pyari is affiliated with Pyari India which implements programs in Calcutta, in West Bengal. Pyari's objective is to provide a home that enables the growth and education of street girls from Calcutta through the provision of professional skills training and health education as way of assuring these girls' independence and ability to integrate into productive society. These services are provided to give girls a brighter future, irrespective of their caste or religious beliefs.
